The quintessential classic Mustang!
Just 3 years after the first Mustang was revealed to the world Ford modified and updated their Pony car in 1967 - and this is what we have here! Apart from a change from red to blue paintwork some years ago and the the fitting of a Shelby style mesh grill this is a unmodified and unrestored original A code 4 barrel car that presents well in good clean and straight condition retaining a very period look.Just lovely!!

This is a genuine A code 225 horsepower 289-4V V8 car built at San Jose in March 1967 and delivered to Cutter Ford of North Hollywood and subsequently registered in California where it remained until arriving in the UK in 2005. Originally in Dusk Rose but repainted some time ago in its current dark blue paint. Also upgraded in the more recent past with a Edelbrock carburetor, manifold intake, chrome valve covers, air cleaner, dual exhaust system,Classic Mustang leather rim steering wheel, paneled carpeted boot,Taylor silicone routed leads, hood lock pins, chromed (rather than painted) hood and side grills and Shelby mesh grill. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2006.
Just approaching the end of recommissioning after more than 5 years dry storage where it had been periodically started but had not been on the road since 2009.This has included a brake system check and overhaul, service,MOT and new paintwork to certain areas needing attention.
Presents extremely well inside and out. The interior is still in period form with oil, water, voltage and speedometer gauges fully functional. The only deviation from factory spec being the very nice addition of the fitting of LED instrument background lighting giving a choice of 3 clear but subtle colours!
This is not a show car and clearly not a show car price however the paintwork is good and bright with straight panelwork and a good clean and sound underside - detailed photos can be seen on our Flickr link.Very much in keeping with how a classic Mustang of 48 years should look with a lovely aged patina throughout but also prepared and ready to get out on the open road and used for what they are best for and be driven!
As a Historic Vehicle tax is free and MOT is until August 2016.
