Short description

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge 400

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Clone 400 6.6 V8 with Hurst-Shift Auto Transmission. Finished in metallic Deep Atoll Blue with black bucket seats and interior, correct period Judge Psychedelic decals, Ram-Air hood and Rally wheels fitted with BF Goodrich tyres.

Based on a Pontiac Tempest this classic muscle car has undergone a major and comprehensive restoration in Florida prior to its importation in 2014, with just the importer and one owner recorded on the V5 since. The conversion to the GTO look with the fitting of the correct GTO panels, nose cone and hood mounted tachometer and correct "The Judge" decals etc, were added during this process. With photographic evidence in support along with its original 1970 Pontiac handbook, copy of US Title and a copy of Classic American Magazine in which this particular car was featured in their November 2014 edition.

Fitted with a dual Flow-Master exhaust with 3R Racing chrome tips, twin cooling fans, Edelbrock inlet manifold and 4-barrel carburetor and triple Sun-Pro gauges. The tinted window film is easy to remove along with the very 1970’s Judge decals if not to the new buyer’s taste. Currently undergoing pre-sales preparation which will include a full service, new MOT, new rear parcel shelf, new quarter window weather seals and professional valet.

With power steering, front power disc brakes and the powerful and very willing 400 V8 matched to the Hurst-Shift gear change this is an exciting and engaging classic car to drive with the performance to more than match its superb good looks.
