1960 Vauxhall Cresta PA – 41,000 miles from new and one of only a handful left. Light restoration and sympathetic upgrades just recently completed making this not only rare but a uniquely usable classic and a superb car to drive.

The body has been prepared and re-metaled as required to super standard by well-known West Country custom car builders and finished in its original Sea Foam Grey over Burgundy. All glass, chrome and fittings are original and the front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed. Wheels and tyres are now 14 inch rather than the 13’s it came with.

The engine has been replaced with the (same series) larger and smoother 3.3 litre engine and a new OE clutch and slave cylinder installed. The original single choke carburettor has been replaced with twin-choke Webbers that suit the engine perfectly making it both efficient and economical. The column change, gearbox, suspension all overhauled and serviced. The front brakes converted to disc brakes with new master cylinder and remote servo brake assist and new wheel cylinders and linings to the rear. The majority of the electrical system has been replaced and fitted with discreet electronic ignition. A new fuel tank was fabricated and installed along with a modern high-efficiency radiator and a correct all-new Cresta PA dual exhaust that exits through the rear valance.

The Ox Blood leather seats are original and have been painstakingly brought back to life and look superb. Fitted with new carpets in a deep Burgundy twist to match the original as much as possible. Just 5 former owners from new and complete with original Handbook, Vauxhall Service Directory, spare wheel and tools and 2 sets of keys.

This exceptional classic Cresta is just a joy to behold and a total joy to drive and offers a completely unique opportunity to own a wonderful part of Vauxhall history.
