1965 Ford Mustang Coupe 302 V8 Auto Restomod. This is a multi-concours winning 1965 Coupe has been thoroughly prepared, including a new and uprated Goodwrench 302 crate motor mated to C4 auto transmission.

Stunning coachwork with Wimbledon White and contrasting grey Pony bucket seats and interior and American Racing Torq-Thrust wheels with BF Goodrich tyres.

SPY 304C, then finished in Mint Green, was voted Classic American Magazine’s Car of the Year in June 2000. Not satisfied with this level of excellence, the then owner completely rebuilt the car, from the last nut and bolt up, into the Restomod style car you see here. The mileage was then set to zero and has covered a little over 11,000 miles since.

Featuring front disc conversion using new callipers and big bearing spindles, Power Steering, Stainless Steel brake pipes throughout, Spax adjustable dampers, Edelbrock Performer inlet manifold with 700cfm Holley carburettor, 8-inch rear axle, bespoke HT harness and electronic distributor, electric tinted windows, remote central locking and remote boot release, Radio/CD multi changer and electric aerial, delay relay LED interior lighting and centre console with illuminated gear position display, push button start and bespoke billet aluminium six gauge covered dashboard, with the addition of a new Mustang grill.

Imported into the UK in September 1993 it comes with a detailed History File and includes all MOTs since 1993 showing no failures and not even a single advisory to date.

This very special Mustang is an outstanding and unique example of the marque and thanks to its upgrades making for a simply great car to drive. Still very much the image of an early classic Mustang but now better equipped for today’s traffic and for its many road trips that lie ahead.
