1968 Ford Mustang 302 Coupe with 5-speed Tremec T5 gearbox. Restored and upgraded finished in beautiful and period Meadowlark Yellow with Black bucket seats and interior and REV 5-Lug polished alloy wheels. New satin black factory side decals. Rebuilt 302 V8 by Ken Coleman (www.engine-data.co.uk) and converted to a T5 manual 5-speed manual gearbox with Hurst shift and Mustang wood/alloy steering wheel. 13inch front disc brakes (streetortrack.com) with new Wilwood master cylinder.
Included in the restoration and upgrades: Coil over front suspension (streetortrack.com) fully adjustable all tubular and rose jointed, all new rear leaf springs and polyurethane bushings all round and rear traction bars, new larger spindles, all new bearings, hubs and stainless braided lines. New Flaming River steering box with 16:1 ratio with all new steering components. Rebuilt ford 8 inch with 3.00 ratio gears and new axles, Global West Monte Carlo bar, new shock tower struts, big block radiator with Evans water less coolant. Full Flow-master stainless steel dual exhaust system with ceramic coated JBA headers.
Engine info: new cam shaft with more duration at 0.50 for better performance at high RPM, all new pistons and connecting rods with engine bored 0.40 over, Edelbrock rpm intake, QuickFuel billet aluminium double pumper carb, new Ford Racing valve covers, new Pentronix ignition system, new QuickFuel fuel pump and new plumbing with AN fittings.
This is a quite outstanding restored and rebuilt Mustang that began with a solid never welded shell before being taken back to bare metal and painted in its original factory colour of Meadowlark Yellow, all new interior fitted. Personally selected by its first UK owner and imported from California in 2016 with the work being completed upon its arrival in the UK. Dry stored over the winter months covering approximately 5000 miles since its completion.
Previously supplied by ourselves this no expensed spared one-off Mustang, not surprisingly drives, sounds and handles just great. If you are after a high performance classic Mustang with a race pedigree feel this is the example for you. Comes supplied with its Deluxe Marti Report to confirm its factory credentials, large History/Restoration file and 1968 Owner’s Manual.
Preparation has included a new McLeod racing clutch, new wiper inserts, the rewiring of the rear lights and will be supplied with a full service, tune and given a new 12 months MOT.
