Fully Restored 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 V8 Fastback with 4-speed manual transmission. Exhaustively restored to concours factory specification covering just 400 miles since its completion.
This investment quality Boss 302 is without doubt in the top echelons of classic Mustangs anywhere. The original factory specification has been followed exactly down to the correctly placed check marks that would have been applied on the production line the day its build was completed in September 1969.
The dedicated restoration process was undertaken over a 4-year period and carried out to exacting standards. After being completely rebuilt the Boss 302 engine was entrusted to the very capable hands of EDA – Engine Data Analysis of Castleford for chassis dynamometer testing. Ford list the Boss 302 at 290 bhp. The Dyno sheet shows a very acceptable 300 bhp.

There really wasn’t much more that you could add to your Mustang in 1969. Built for export, we believe for the European market, supplied with a KPH speedometer.
The Boss 302 came as standard with Front Disc Brakes, Quick-Ratio Steering, Competition Suspension and Instrument Gauges. Only built for 2 years for homologation to enable it to be raced in the Trans-Am Race series, giving it Big-Block power from the smaller and lighter 302 motor, making it in effect a street legal race car.
This quite exceptional Mustang has been shown at a number of events in the UK and the recipient of several awards in 2019. Out of the 191522 Mustangs built in 1970 and of the 7014 Boss 302’s produced only a small number were produced with this exact level of options and equipment.
So not only a car with more show-winning potential but an especially rare and highly desirable Mustang to grace any collection and perfect for anyone who only wants the very best available.
