Overview

SOLD – Congratulations to Denise

1996 Aston Martin DB7 i6 Supercharged Coupe 5 Speed Manual. This being 1 of only 529 i6 manual cars ever produced.

Registered in January 1996, this Aston Martin DB7 has many unique features only found in the early build cars manufactured between the end of 1994 and mid 1996 including a composite bonnet, in addition to different switchgear, seats, steering, brakes and a firmer suspension set up.

The DB7 utilised a steel semi-monocoque chassis equipped with all-round independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes and power assisted rack-and-pinion steering, whilst the 3239cc DOHC straight-six engine boasted four valves per cylinder and an Eaton supercharger and was credited with producing 335bhp and 360lbft of torque.

Designed by Ian Callum and credited at the time as being the most beautiful car design since the E Type Jaguar, this particular car is finished in classic Cheviot deep burgundsicy with a contrasting parchment and burgundy hide interior. The interior has swathes of leather covering nearly every surface and deep burgundy carpets, whilst being a non-air bag car the steering wheel is a delightful three spoke wooden rimmed item which matches the walnut dashboard perfectly. Alongside the optional three piece 5 spoke Aliseo alloy wheels with polished rims.

This example has clearly been loved and cherished throughout its ownership with the car presenting in great all-round condition for its age and mileage.

Having covered just over 70,000 from new, the car was serviced buy a selection of Aston Martin main dealers and specialists right up to 54, 958 miles at which time the car was maintained by its enthusiast owner with a handwritten log of services he carried out including the dates and mileages. Subsequently the Aston has been serviced by specialist dealer at 69450 miles.

Supplied with the car is the original book pack, a large number of service and parts invoices and MOT certificates dating back to 2003.
