Our 1969 Chevrolet Nova 396 – A Rare, World-Class Example
We are delighted to offer what we believe to be one of the finest 1969 Chevrolet Novas available anywhere, and certainly one of the best we’ve handled in nearly twenty years of business. Presented in striking red with black bucket-seat interior, this Nova has undergone a full, nut-and-bolt, frame-off restoration, with workmanship of an exceptional standard throughout.
Under the bonnet sits the legendary GM 396 cubic inch V8, paired with a Muncie M20 four-speed manual gearbox and a GM 10-bolt rear axle with limited-slip differential. Power brakes provide confident stopping to match the car’s performance, while Firestone redline tyres, polished chrome and stainless trim complete the period-correct muscle-car appearance.
Inside, the car features custom bucket seats, a rear bench, black vinyl upholstery, matching carpets, a tilt-adjustable wooden steering wheel, Hurst shifter, original-style gauges and additional auxiliary instruments. The interior finish is to a very high standard.
The underside of the Nova is every bit as impressive: chassis, floor pans, suspension, brake lines, fuel system and exhaust all present in outstanding condition. The new dual exhaust delivers the unmistakable soundtrack of a classic American big-block.
A comprehensive folder of restoration receipts and documentation accompanies the car. Imported from the renowned American specialist Vanguard Motor Sales, this Nova is being offered for sale within the UK for the first time—an opportunity that is exceptionally rare in the current market.
For collectors, enthusiasts, or anyone seeking an investment-grade American muscle car, this 1969 Nova represents a truly outstanding example.
